"We decided to test a draft at this tournament"

In a post-match interview following Team Spirit's victory over BetBoom Team, offlaner Save- spoke about his team's performance at The International 11 and shared their plans for the future.

On captaining

Save- expressed his satisfaction with his new role as captain, saying that he had learned a lot from his experience at TI10.

"I feel good as a captain," said Save-. "TI10 was a good experience for me, and I learned a lot from it." He went on to say that he is still learning and growing in his role, but he is confident in his ability to make the right decisions for his team.

On lessons from TI10

Reflecting on Team Spirit's disappointing performance at TI10, where they finished 9th-12th, Save- identified a number of areas where the team can improve.

"TI10 was a difficult tournament for us, but I think we can learn a lot from it," said Save-. He cited the team's lack of stability as one of the main reasons for their poor performance, adding that the team made too many changes to their lineup and strategy.

Save- also emphasized the importance of playing as a team and supporting each other, saying that this is something that the team will need to work on in the future.

On the state of carry players

When asked about the state of carry players in the current meta, Save- admitted that it is a difficult position.

"Carry is a difficult position right now," said Save-. "There are a lot of really good players in the world, and the meta is constantly changing." He went on to say that he believes that the best carry players in the world are those who are able to adapt to the meta and play a variety of different heroes.

Save- also praised the performance of OG's carry player, [Ame](https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Ame), who he believes is one of the best in the world.

On Team Spirit's future plans

Looking ahead to the future, Save- said that the team's immediate goal is to qualify for the next major tournament, the Arlington Major.

"The Arlington Major is our next goal, and we are going to work hard to qualify for it," said Save-. He also added that the team is planning to make some changes to their lineup, but did not provide any details.

In the meantime, Team Spirit will compete in the ESL One Malaysia tournament, which is scheduled to take place from August 23rd to 28th.
