The star-studded revival of a classic play is coming to Broadway soon.

The Roommate, a Tony Award-winning play by Donald Margulies, is getting a star-studded revival on Broadway this fall.

Mia Farrow and Patti LuPone will star in the two-hander, which will be directed by Leigh Silverman.

The play is a dark comedy about two women who become roommates in New York City.

Sharon (Farrow) is a recently widowed woman who is struggling to cope with her grief. Irene (LuPone) is a successful businesswoman who is looking for a new start.

The two women initially bond over their shared experiences, but their relationship soon takes a dark turn.

The revival is generating a lot of buzz, thanks to the star power of Farrow and LuPone.

Farrow is a two-time Academy Award nominee who is best known for her roles in Rosemary's Baby and Hannah and Her Sisters.

LuPone is a three-time Tony Award winner who is best known for her roles in Evita and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

The Roommate is sure to be a hot ticket when it opens on Broadway this fall.

Tickets go on sale on August 12, and the play is scheduled to open on October 5.
