Farrow is a two-time Academy Award nominee who is best known for her roles in Rosemary's Baby and Hannah and Her Sisters.
LuPone is a three-time Tony Award winner who is best known for her roles in Evita and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
The Roommate is sure to be a hot ticket when it opens on Broadway this fall.
Tickets go on sale on August 12, and the play is scheduled to open on October 5.
